Brushtail is an open source web-based application that replaces traditional paper-based methods of general library administrative tasks. Brushtail provides a web portal for library staff to easily access an events booking system, pc booking system, room booking system, calendars, casual staff availability hours, notice board, IT support job log, a deferred reference database and access policies/procedures, The core feature of Brushtail is its simple but effective content management system (CMS) that enables staff to create events, information content pages, interactive information contribution forms and much more. All staff users, regardless of their technical capability, will find Brushtail intuitive and easy to use with little or no training - and what's more, they will enjoy using it!

The Brushtail content, user permissions and other configuration elements are completely administrated through a web browser. Brushtail is fully cross browser compatible and is offered as a hosted service by WebWired Solutions.
